Made friends with the guy I gave my goalie gear to when I figured I wouldn't play again. He and his wife were so incredibly nice. Today his wife passed from brain cancer. I feel so horrible for him, they are about my age. I hate these reminders of how fragile life is. And as always, fuck cancer.
