Had a lot of fun recreating a UI, while learning more about clip-path and doing bad things with Grid Blogged about it www.dandenney.com/posts/front-... But if words aren't your thing, here's just a pen codepen.io/dandenney/pe...

Need something to listen to on route to Config? How about this new episode of Complementary with special guest Alex Krasikov where we discuss design engineering! open.spotify.com/episode/24oA...

I wrote about design system documentation. It may be one of, if not the most important thing a team can do–as long as the documentation is good. pjonori.blog/posts/design...

@figma.com Just because I was given a Dev Mode link, doesn't mean I want to forever be subscribed to Dev Mode updates for that file πŸ™

Don't get me wrong. Everyone should absolutely get paid! But... these prices for online courses & conferences are so high. It feels more like gatekepping. If prices were lower, don't you think more people would be able to afford and therefore more would be sold and make the same, if not more profit?

I strongly do not recommend designing an obituary site for a friend that just passed. This shit is fucked.

Just an absolute firehose of new(ish) CSS techniques from @nerdy.dev at Smashing's Meets. I will not remember all of it. But excited to start experimenting!

If you don't take down production *at least* once a month, what are you even doing with your life?

IMHO, AI prototyping tools should be lessening the gap between design and production code, not adding a 3rd potential tool that is *neither*. It just further burdens the design system to keep them all in sync. The primary value for all these tools should always be "Prototype with production quality"

How happy are you with design system tooling at the moment? That's the Question this week and I'm utterly stoked to be joining @bencallahan.com on Thursday to talk about it. But first we need your responses! bit.ly/answerTheQue...

Hold my beer, I'm about to rewrite 3000 lines of React code

23andMe has filed for bankruptcy to sell itself, which means any data they hold about you is going to change hands soon. If you're worried about your privacy don't rush in and delete your account - scramble it first. This way, any residual data they retain after deletion will be useless too 🧡

Let's chat about Android phones. Not your personal preference for a phone. I don't care (seriously I don't. Please don't tell me) but why it's important to give support to Android apps that's comparable to iOS when it comes to accessibility. (1/4(

Please do not develop data tables without accessibility at the forefront because then I have to have 6 am meetings why that isn't cool. Then tell you why even if you don't want to you're gonna have to refactor your code.

My family text chain is now just full of "Flying to (city), love you all!" messages. And I hate that for us.

Alt text is extremely important right now as you organize. Please prioritize it at the minimum to ensure your information is being distributed properly. If you need help, I will help you as best as I can.

I didn't start joining til later in series, but I'm so excited to soak in this content. Design systems nerds! Check it out!

Hey @bsky.app, found a bug with the new video "stream?" on Android, where clicking to quote post won't stop the video or even let you stop the video

Kudos to Heydon's fresh briefs!

*Runs to rip out hacks* Huge! Thank you!

Got some news coming about the designsystems.wtf blog, and it's going to require input from the #DesignSystems community. Keep an eye out 🧑

Your workload should be accomplish-able in 40 hours per week. If not, you probably have too many unproductive meetings or too much work.
