Just watched #BetterMan and was blown away. The Monkey thing was inspired - totally worked. Brilliantly original storytelling that resonates whether you know a lot about RW or not.

It is ~7:30am and I’ve just used my GP surgery’s online consultation process. Not only did it give me great direction on which healthcare route was appropriate before I started, it was simple and intuitive. Result - I have an in person appointment at 11am today. Love the NHS!

#moviesky I loved the book, but was disappointed with the theatre production I saw (music great but felt the story was rushed/not developed). As such I did not know how I would feel about the movie version. Am pleased to report it was f-ing AMAZING. They knocked it out of the part. BLOWN AWAY 🧙

Just finished watching Joy - the both of IVF on Netflix. An incredible story of tenacity, heartbreak and hope made into a truly beautiful film. I was moved to tears for the last 40 minutes and am emotionally wrecked. Definite must watch

Have stayed up all night to finish reading The Keeper of Stories by Sally Page. A slow start almost put me off but as soon as Mrs B was introduced I was fully invested. By the end I had laughed, cried, and felt enriched by such a heartwarming tale.

Spent my birthday week with a first trip away without kids. The best bit however was managing to top and tail the week with visits to said kids at their respective universities. Had to get those hugs in somehow 🥰🤗
