Trying out an after dinner peanut butter beer.

The DOGE firings have nothing to do with “efficiency” or “cutting waste.” They’re a direct push to weaken federal agencies perceived as liberal. This was evident from the start, and now the data confirms it: targeted agencies overwhelmingly those seen as more left-leaning. 🧵⬇️

Watching the Netflix docuseries Hitler and the Nazis: Evil on Trial and the parallels between 1930s Germany and today's USA are so glaringly obvious. And then one of the historians describes Hitler's villa the alps as "It's sort of like Hitler's Mar-a-Lago." Yeah.

Nothing to see here.

I took my kid on a college tour today. The info session speaker highlighted the school's diversity, LBGTQ+ policies, clubs geared toward different ethnicities, and the $$$$ in federal research funding they get. Good stuff! Will go back in a few months to see if they've changed the presentation.

I missed this when it was published a few weeks ago. A 5 minute video that is worth the watch.

Costco, which has come out saying it supports DEI, will make no changes to its existing programs, AND pays workers a minimum of $30/hour, is up 15% YTD. Target, which announced it is ending all DEI programs and has a minimum wage of $15-$24/hour, is down over 4%. Keep voting with your wallet.

NEW: While responding to worst wildfires in the history of Los Angeles, FEMA employees were ordered to immediately change their vocabulary to call immigrants "aliens." "For Immediate compliance" they were told. Worker said it's "the most 1984 email Ive ever seen" www.404media.co/for-immediat...

With Rubio and Bondi I think it’s pretty clear that not even the seemingly maybe acceptable nominees will be anything but instruments of fascism, so perhaps people with decision making power should conduct themselves accordingly

Trump is totally going to give USDA a timeout for making this announcement.

I'd really love to know what VP JD's honest counsel was.

On 7 April 1933, the German government issued the Law for the Restoration of the Professional Civil Service, which excluded Jews and other political opponents of the Nazis from all civil service positions. One provision aimed to remove personnel deemed unreliable due to their political beliefs.

Stew Peters says that Kash Patel was helping him to sue Rolling Stone and during that process, "we directly [texted] via personal cell phones constantly."

Loretta Lynch got in trouble for meeting Bill Clinton at an airport and now the AG is saying DOJ exists to implement the presidents agenda.

Fuck it. Let's just boil the planet.

How long do you think until Trump rescinds MLK Day?

1. Per settled con law doctrine, state officials can’t be commandeered into enforcing federal law. 2. Noted liberal squish Antonin Scalia wrote one of the two major opinions setting out the commandeering doctrine. 3. The memo doesn’t mention this, because apparently federalism is for losers now.

We have always been at war with Eastasia.

I made it to the ocean, but I think I think I had an aneurysm along the way.

My dudes, turn this shit off. On iOS it's under Settings > Apps > Photos > scroll all the way down.

Clark Griswold is not on vacation in Christmas Vacation.

See if you can find any anything wrong with this @apnews.com article about the Panama Canal. apnews.com/article/trum...

So the college kid got violently ill overnight and after some texting it appears that the Xmas party for my Dad's side of the family that we went to on Sunday was a Norovirus superspreader event. Yay?

We've been saying "See you later, Alligator" for decades, when "Sayonara, Capybara" was right there.
