Presidential immunity only means trump can't be charged for breaking the law, it doesn't mean illegal executive orders can be carried out by his subordinates or that anyone other than the president carrying them out can't/won't be charged for violating the law. #USPOL

It occurs to me that while trump himself has immunity for official acts that violate the law, no other member of the government does. So while trump can't get in trouble for signing an illegal EO, members of the government who enforce those illegal EOs can be sued/charged. #USPOL

My layman's understanding is that DOGE has no actual authority to go after government agencies without congressional creation/approval, and due to the recent Chevron decision, must seek congressional approval for each action they attempt as they have no independent regulatory authority. #USPOL
