Would love to see a system that allows a narrow 22kg/49lb all-weather velomobile (pedal car) to travel from residence to intercity bus or train station on a protected cycle network. Then roll onboard an intercity bus like a land ferry for an extra fee.

No car? No worries! IKEA Utrecht started a pilot in which customers can rent an electric cargo bike, four-wheeler with storage box or bike trailer to transport their purchases home, without needing a car. If the pilot proves a succes, it will be expanded to the rest of the country. 🚲 📦 👌🏼

It cannot be overstated that every city needs to follow what Austin is doing. Rents have dropped 16% in the last year due to the shear number of housing reforms they've passed. Austin just passed single stair reform 10-1 today.

Something different: Etrucks in Auckland now has a battery swap system for big rigs. They're sorting out the lasers and stuff, then it'll be 100% automated and much quicker than refilling a tank of diesel. And much, much, much cheaper.
