They are trying to gain new followers to cycling. Talking for 40 minutes so far without any cycling is not the way to do it. This broadcasting farce in the UK is a mess. I miss GCN+ so bad.

Does anyone have any images of hifi setups on old school equipment!? I can barely find anything but it must have happened. #cycling @obsoletesony.bsky.social

Absolutely devastating for all.

1990. Birth date of a recent memory! Thibaut Pinot. Who is your favourite French rider? Pictures and names below please 😃 #cycling #UCI

2018. Richie Porte randomly ended up in a break away during stage 6 of the 2018 Vuelta. He commented before the stage to journalists how good he was feeling and as a part of a come back tour, he was let go. Nothing better than seeing a GC man let go for some TV time in a Grand tour. #Cycling ##UCI

2018. Six years but it seems a lifetime ago. Peter Sagan won Paris Roubaix. Wearing rainbow he beat Silvan Dillier in a two up sprint inside the velodrome. He chased down the early break to combine with Dillier only to jump him for the win. Three years as world champ. Great way to finish. #cycling

1992. What is your favourite old school bike? Mine is a ‘92 Cannondale 2.8 Al. (2.8 pound frame. 1280grams). I found mine on the Land fill. It’s criminal. Please post your retro bike. Pictures please! (This is a pic from the web). Mine is on the other side of the world. #Cycling #UCI #Cannondale

1973. The birth date of Richard Moore, one of cycling Journalism’s most loved figures. he passed away in 2022 to the shock of the cycling world. Co founder of “The cycling podcast”, his energy and humour was infectious. Worth hunting down his interviews. Also a gifted author . #RIP #Cycling #UCI

Gastone Nencini won the 1960 Tour de France and the 1957 Giro. Nencini was a genuine rouleur and mountain man. He was an amateur painter and a chain smoker. Here he is filling his bidon with a nice claret during a Tour stage. Descending half pissed helps confidence not competence. #cycling #UCI

1969. The Carlton flyer is the oldest carbon fibre example of a road bike. Fitted via lug and tube technique, this bike weighs in at an impressive 7.5kgs without chain and pedals. This is one of 20 made during 69/70 and is housed in the Raleigh special products division. #cycling #UCI #biketech

1937. Although geared bikes were developed in the late 1800s it wasn’t until 1937 for them to be allowed (by all riders not just amateurs) into the Tour. The introduction was a game changer and the derailleur technology allowed gear changes with out stopping for the first time. #cycling #UCI

2010. Andy Schleck tries to attack Alberto on stage 17 of The Tour. Schleck went on to win the Pyrenean stage. Contador went on to win the tour. Interestingly Lance finished around 4 minutes back on this stage during his come back tour. Probably should have stayed retired. #cycling #letour

2009. Cadel Evans wins the #UCI world Championship road race in Switzerland. Always a solid contributor, this win cemented his brilliance. He kept many Australians up all night to watch his endeavours. Cadel would go on to be the first Aussie winner of the #Tourdefrance in 2011.

2018. G went away to win on Alpe D’Huez on stage 12 in yellow. Ironically riding in support of Chris Froome. He says he produced over 1100 watts in this reduced bunch sprint. #cycling #UCI
