JD Vance, aka Vladimir Pudding, says (paraphrasing here) "We don't care if the country belongs to someone else - even our allies - we want it, so we'll take it." Same as Russia in Ukraine, China with Hong Kong and Taiwan. For anyone still confused - this is authoritarianism.
