Yesterday I filled my pallet with cool and warm primaries and two neutral pigments. This is called a split primary pallet. I’m going to get my brushes wet again. The rainbow was a nice surprise. The bending of light from the window in my door. Yellows, reds, and blues here I come!

I painted the Batchelder School (dist #20) for my cousin. My father, her father, and our grandmothers went to school here. In my painting her grandmother is with her siblings, she is holding a doll. This is in Boulder County, Colorado and is a private home now.
