Just personally disgusted with my own countrymen. Long long gone are the days of being the good guys. As a soldier I got to participate in the not so good endeavors of my nation. Now we have a pretty clear cut opportunity to do the right thing, and half of us want nothing to do with it.

I have a theory that the darkest timeline began when they told us Pluto was no longer a planet. It was the first test to see how we would react to a massive lie with far reaching implications. So much of the backlash towards myself and other authors has since devolved into personal attacks (and for some reason gross transphobia) on Twitter. I am heartbroken to see authors behave so unkindly towards others. A call for kindness and decorum is not outlandish, nor is it censorship. Be kind.
