A new resolution in the House gets rid of federal income taxes - $4.5T - and calls for a $2T cut in expenses. Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP and other programs are included. It does nothing to reduce the deficit, it seems to make it worse. I can’t see how anybody thinks this is a good idea.
