Dahlia and I have this amazing neighbor who is always bringing me food from the restaurant where he works. One of the things he often brings me is roast pork with rice, so I decided to use it to make treats for Dahlia.

Depression is kicking my butt this winter, and multiple health problems with my legs and feet are making it really difficult for me to meet Dahlia's simulation and exercise needs. It's just making the depression worse. I could really use some help getting her some good toys that I can't afford.

Our building manager is threatening to evict me if I play fetch with Dahlia in the hall for a few minutes/day, which means that I have nowhere to take her to let her zoom a little bit throughout the day. All of the training I've done over the last 8 months is will be undone in a matter of days 😑

Beef, carrot, ginger, and turmeric (plus corn flour) dog treats for Dahlia. Specifically formulated for dogs that are prone to joint problems like hip dysplasia, and cataracts. She seems to really like them, so I have a feeling I'll be making a lot of these.

Dahlia needs some love today. Someone broke into our building at 4am to get out of the snow and our neighbors decided to exacerbate the problem instead of letting the police deal with it. Lots of yelling in the lobby. Dahlia was on guard until I finally got up and took her to enjoy her first snow.
