Craving different public discourses right now and on cue @nightboat.bsky.social delivered this to my door. Congrats to the many contributors, this looks amazing. Reading against my own feeling of blowing away like dust. Permanent Record. Poetics Toward the Archive. There’s a link out there—find it!

I’m facilitating a zine-making workshop inspired by the work of the Sea Island Citizenship and Mississippi Freedom schools. Sound interesting? Learn more/register here: socialpracticecuny.org/event/freedo...

In early 2025, uranium from a Superfund site on the Navajo Nation will be removed from tribal land to a landfill run by state officials in New Mexico.

Watching with horror what is happening in the US. I've just saved a copy of the NASA style guidelines as a record in case they remove the provision for non-gender-specific language. 🧪 WomenInSTEM

Honored and moved to see “The Kármán Line” in @yourimpossiblevoice.com 💫

Woke up wanting to buy one of the old “Bernie beats Tr*mp” t-shirts from 2020. Are those collectible yet?

Wish I could gather up all the little substacks into a mesh network and have them catch me in this social media free fall

Spread the word!

My fiancé saw a TikTok about opening all the doors and windows for fresh air during a cold snap so it’s a freezing morning over here

🤯 “While this process is not identical to photosynthesis, it serves a comparable purpose and converts energy from the environment to sustain growth. This phenomenon, called radiosynthesis, has opened up exciting avenues in biochemistry and radiation research.”

Former Amazon worker here; do not cross this picket line. Don't do it. Don't even order from them (unless absolutely necessary). They're a disgusting company to work for and the reason for my knee problems that required years of physical therapy. Fuck Amazon. We stand with the workers! 👊🏻✨

It was wild to see my partner on submission this past year with a memoir. I’ve never seen so many complements on writing and voice sandwiched into regrets about the industry/sales. Was almost glad to write in even more obscure genres myself 😂

“But The Kármán Line posits that language and the act of definition are not tools exclusive to colonial entities. They are within our own reach…” Honored to come home to this review of The Kármán Line by Victoriano Cárdenas: bmr.unm.edu/review-of-th...

Listen to AOC. All those calls we made matter. Pat yourselves on the back, because you #DidThisToday. Now if you haven't already, put your reps' names and numbers in your phone contacts so you can call them all the damn time. We're making a habit of this. 🤝

Here on book tour in post-electionpocalypse 💀

Reading from The Kármán Line in Western Mass with Andrea Lawler this weekend— come out if you need to be with people 🖤

Wish I had a commitment to poetry as strong as the passion for religious pamphlets demonstrated by individuals with stands on campus. But then I wonder, what are the economics? Do those work like Mary Kay?
