Just took a bath with epsom salts that was so long, my teenager came to check on me and make sure I hadn’t fallen asleep. I love being a florist but phew - Valentine’s week gets more and more exhausting every year.

This is beautiful. This is what parents should be - supportive and loving to their child no matter what. What strong advocacy they show. Trans lives matter, and it’s disgusting how they are being treated and targeted because of ignorance and hate.

I don’t want to decorate for Christmas, because it doesn’t feel like Christmas without my Daddy. I don’t know how to push through this, or how to stop feeling like I need to keep things “normal.”

Thanksgiving (and really any family gathering) is a loud affair full of laughter in our house. There’s a hole with my Daddy gone that we won’t ever fill, but we did him proud today with roll-throwing and love and laughter. I’m blessed to be related to fun people I love more than anything.
