1/2 I admit it. Trump was right on the economy improving. Has me spontaneously buying concert tickets, planning a tattoo (even though I've always said I'll never understand why one would do that), buying arts & crafts for signs, buying a guitar, all to destress from POTUS/SCOTUS/GOP ongoings.

Wished to have heard 12 or more songs but a great night in the open air with the kiddo & the Barenaked Ladies (Fastball & Guster were good too)! In these days, one needs to find a little joys to keep going & last night was one - thanks for a wonderful time #BNL Last Summer on Earth Tour (No. 13?).

I liked to watch shows like Black-ish & The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore - got perspectives that I may (was) not unaware of. How did I learn of Juneteenth? Black-ish! Granted, I'm an immigrant & didn't go to K-12 school here so I don't know what was taught, but this seems like a big hole!

See why our Fox-viewing friends and relatives seriously believe "half the country" support their hero? The Fox version plays fake cheers, and never turns the camera around to show the audience. Then compare to NPR showing what actually happened. #USDemocracy #Voices4Victory

1/2 My unasked review of MI:Reckoning movies. They are fine but no more than that for me. Love the 3 MIs before these, where they had an awesome mix of thrill & fun (i.e. literal humor) but, just like Thor: Love & Thunder drifted too far to comedy (to me), Reckoning went too serious.

1/2 Have a few hardcore GOP friends. Didn't really seem to matter (never really came up) until round 1. They didn't understand why politics should affect friendship. As friends for years, tried to remain friends - on condition the "one" is never discussed. Was going "ok" but now we have round 2.

Hmmm .. M#sk complaining that he helped get Trump win but no "gratitude" sounds a lot like a quid pro quo to get benefits from an elected official! Same with Trump claiming M#sk helped him win. Full disclosure of the corruption from these two on display and no consequences still. #GOPruption
