#BestNBAPlayer: 1960-61 The Boston Celtics went 57-22, claiming the league's best regular season record for the fifth-straight year. They also won their fourth championship in that span, beating the St. Louis Hawks for the second consecutive year and third time overall.

#BestNBAPlayer: 1959-60 Wilt Chamberlain made perhaps the splashiest entrance in NBA history, leading the league in scoring and rebounding, winning Rookie of the Year and MVP, and helping the Philadelphia Warriors earn the 2nd best record. The Boston Celtics (59-16) won 10 more games and the title.

#BestNBAPlayer: 1958-59 Bob Pettit led the league in scoring for the second time and won his second (and final) MVP. But he couldn't get his St. Louis Hawks past the revived Minneapolis Lakers and Rookie of the Year Elgin Baylor. Of course, those Lakers were no match for the Boston Celtics (52-20).

This IDIOT is PRETENDING that there’s an issue where you can’t speak FREELY in America lol lmao what a DOPE…anyways yes he will be losing his job and the government will crush his former employer for wrongspeak

#BestNBAPlayer: 1957-58 This is the second year of the Celtics dynasty, with Boston finishing first in the NBA at 49-23. But Bill Russell got hurt in the Finals, and the St. Louis Hawks won the championship in six games — one of only two years in Russell's career when he didn't win the title.

#BestNBAPlayer: 1956-57 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Boston Celtics dynasty. It began in this season with a 44-28 record and a trip to the NBA Finals against the St. Louis Hawks. That series lasted seven games, with the last outing going to double overtime, before Boston won by two points.

#NewspapersInComics Source: Detective Comics #44 (Larry Steele) Grade: B- It’s a shame to have such a nice, bold headline botched by poor wording and punctuation. Two exclamation marks are ridiculous!! And referring to the suspect as a nephew is weird and strange in the main head.

RIP Peter David. This thread right here.

We're all going to miss you Peter David.

We lost a legend! 😢

I know my state well enough to know that a report confirming gender-affirming care is beneficial will do nothing to disuade our legislatiors from targeting us. It's not about protecting kids and it never was. The only thing that will change their minds is when they start losing their jobs over it.

#NewspapersInComics Source: Detective Comics #42 (Slam Bradley) Grade: B- The wording in the headline is a bit clumsy. And I’m sure that picture is the murderer in question, but the line between it and the story implies it belongs to a separate story — like the unrelated strike story on the right.

Put in Joe Ingles, you cowards.

#NewspapersInComics Source: Detective Comics #42 (The Crimson Avenger) Grade: C+ The format is fine. The exclamation mark and the ellipses are obnoxious. And I think the main headline is focusing on the wrong thing. Saving a girl is great, but capturing a group bent on world domination is bigger.

May 24, 1998: NBA on NBC's intro for Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, in which the Utah Jazz would defeat the Lakers, 96-92, and advance to the NBA Finals with a sweep of Los Angeles:
