xAI then makes bargains around the world — let us tap into your data and you get our premium proprietary model. Soon enough, they have an AI monopoly and with AGI, de facto governance of the planet.

Under this theory, DOGE continues to have some high profile china breaking events, but it all adds up to little and they quietly go away. But the data helps xAI have access to govt. military, economic and political data no one else has, and they leap frog competitors.

I’ve been chatting with chatGPT about the potential repercussions of DOGE being nothing more than a Trojan Horse to train xAI off federal data … and I’m a little freaked out. If Musk is permitted to siphon off fed gov data to a proprietary model, we could be looking at an AI monopoly.

We really need to starting referring to this as the Trump/Musk administration, one because Elon is quickly becoming toxic and two because it would make Trump’s head explode.

Putting aside the ethnic cleansing and the fantasies about Arab nations taking in Palestinians … can you think of a bigger future terrorism target that Club Gaza?

Dems need to make clear that they will provide zero votes to raise the debt ceiling until DOGE is gone and its actions reversed.

Trump 2024: I’ll bring immediate peace to Ukraine and Gaza. Trump 2025: I’ll go to war with Canada, Denmark and Panama! Who voted for this shit?

How does DOGE have authority to bust into a Congressionally mandated federal agency and shut it down? Why hasn’t someone gone to court to get an injunction on this?

So let me get this straight … Trump is threatening to throw 100 percent tariffs on a bunch of oil producing countries? This war on inflation is off to a rousing start.

Authoritarianism is a terrible form of government because no one person is smart enough to run one. An authoritarian administration stocked with yes men is even worse. So get over last year, Dems. It’s a binary political system. We’ll be back — and soon.

I think what we’re witnessing today is, most of all, clumsy stupidity. Authoritarianism is a terrible form of government because autocrats and lackeys aren’t smart enough to run a country. They’ll keep forcing themselves into bad spots unintentionally.

Hey Google! If Trump puts out an executive order that all maps must show Greenland and Canada as U.S. territory, are you going to comply with that too?

Regarding this Presidential third term amendment: the only way it could possibly get through the states is if it allowed third terms across the board, so Obama could also run. But they’ll never do this, because the big bad bully party is still scared shitless of him.

Even if the Supreme Court were to absurdly misinterpret the 14th amendment and end birthright citizenship, there’s no way in hell the President has the power to declare who is or isn’t a citizen. Congress would need to play a part in this.

I’d really like to know: If Trump is engaged in a bilateral trade negotiation with China, for example, and makes a condition for lower tariffs that they invest $10 billion into Trumpcoin, will Trump supports be fine with this? I’m assuming the answer is yes.

My new book “Essai by Essay, A Journey Through Montaigne” is out now and, for a limited time, free as a Kindle download. www.amazon.com/dp/B0DTCZ52TS All I ask is that you leave an honest review and make a donation of any amount to The Rotary Foundation. raise.rotary.org/Dan-Conley/f...

Trump has so many double bind policies in play … tariffs that are both designed to pay for tax cuts, but are also negotiating chips … ridiculous military threats, but also a self described “madman theory” that admits its all bluster. His 5D chess is just bullshit.

Can we make “Let’s Go Denmark” the anti-Trump version of “Let’s Go Brandon”?

What are you doing, Giants, tank the damn game!

Democrats are starting to learn the most important lesson about Trump. Don’t get outraged, don’t focus on indictments, impeachment or lightning strikes. Just say no. Use every Constitutional lever available to say no over and over. He’s a 3 year old, treat him like one.

Think of how thoroughly Republicans would freak out if Democrats ever paid this kind of serious attention to someone openly talking about ending the American experiment. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024...

So sad that he’s gone. The object of baseball is to score runs. No one in the history of the game scored more runs than Rickey Henderson. Flat out legend. www.baseball-reference.com/players/h/he...

Just a reminder that if Canada were to become the 51st state, it would have 55 electoral votes and 53 members of congress, which would likely lock Republicans out of power for generations. So threaten away, Mr. Trump.

All of these ethically appalling stories about Mangione’s “ideology” prove why the Unabomer manifesto never should have been published. The ideas weren’t original, they drew attention only because they were tied to a mass murderer. The template lives on.
