Oh Cornwall, how I adore thee... ❀️

Jaw dropping #potterythrowdown this evening. These potters are so talented. ❀️

Amazingly, I'd never seen Buckaroo Banzai until this afternoon. Loved it!

Finally caught up with Paddington In Peru. Absolutely loved it! 🍊🐻

I just rewatched The Rocky Horror Picture Show for the first time in years. It’s such a confident piece of filmmaking. Great songs and a wonderful cast. Tim Curry’s central performance is truly astonishing: funny, sexy, dangerous. Here’s my drawing of him. barnabyedwards.co.uk/silver-screa...

Absolutely awful news. Utterly heartbreaking. The great thing about Bond was that it was a family business. The quality may have varied but it was always made by a small group of people who cared. It'll now be just another overexploited commodity. I'm devastated. www.bbc.com/news/article...

Great afternoon in the company of Richard Lester's 1974 film, Juggernaut. It's a kind of Heart of Darkness journey into the minds of a maker and diffuser of a load of mechanically complex bombs planted on an Atlantic ocean liner. Think Triangle with thrills and less Kate O'Mara.

Today is the Feast of Saint Breward, a slightly obscure Cornish saint who gives his name to a village in Bodmin Moor. Breward is a corruption of Branwalader, a 6th-century Christian preacher. Here’s my painting of the moor just outside the village. barnabyedwards.co.uk/shop/art-lan...

You can tell #theapprentice is real because the boardroom secretary is looking at a pie chart.

Currently playing: this CD remaster of the original Slave to the Rhythm album is super stunning. Every nuance of Horn's luscious soundscape is rendered with amazing clarity. Astonishing release.

I love #PotteryThrowdown 😳

Nerves a bit frazzled, so starting the day quiet. A modern classic? If I hadn't heard it before, I'd have guessed it was released in the late 70s/early 80s by Brian Eno, Harold Budd, Daniel Lanois or some other early #ambient artist. I can imagine it being a GenZ stoner go-to. #jazz #NowPlaying

Just finished reading the first volume of Peter Parker's fascinating anthology on queer life in London. I had to keep reminding myself this was only 70 or so years ago, so shocking is some of the rhetoric first hand. How far we've come in such a short time (and how fragile that progress). #LGBTQ++

10 years ago tonight, my good friend Andy Robinson uploaded a little #DoctorWho short film originally created to help promote a charity book project. To this day it's still one of the best Who fan films out there. www.youtube.com/watch?v=LO7Y...
