unhinged posts tend to illicit unhinged responses

Trump is blackmailing Israel. my rep, Laura Gillen with her groundbreaking 191k votes in 2024, knows more about NYC than the NYers living there, and the budget is green lighting ICE to become the next iteration of brown shirts. it’s all the bad place.

I have serious, possibly irreconcilable differences with anyone who thinks Zohran Mamdani winning the NYC mayoral primary is a bigger threat to the Democratic Party than the shit being churned out by the Neo-Confederates on the Supreme Court

and yes we are suddenly taking something that, until yesterday, was considered permissible. in the same way we can trust the Trump admin will always represent the full truth in good faith, trust me when i tell you that our deciding to do this ~right now~ is nothing but coincidence.

It’s wild that the “don’t tread on me” crowd and the “we can only go by what the Founders believed” originalist crowd are somehow ushering us toward a constitution-less tyrannical king. Um, guys, I’m not sure you really know your history.

The Supreme Court is about to go on an extended summer vacation, after having blown up the docket of every single lower court judge who has been working like a dog to deal with the firehose of illegal orders coming out of this administration.

I wonder if the Supreme Court is thinking at all about the fact that they are building a population that fundamentally does not believe in law or the judiciary

If the Supreme Court thinks universal injunctions are unconstitutional, to wait until *now* to say that, in this of all cases, with this of all presidents, is a devastating indictment of both its impartiality and its prudence.

these SCOTUS orders, in summary, "nothing matters, at least on paper, we're all on our own"

The left better start figuring out how to weaponize today's decision rather than just (rightfully) criticizing it. - Go back into Judge Kaczmaryk's court to dissolve all of his nationwide orders. - Pass gun bans and insist any order applies only to plaintiffs.

These 37 House Dems agree with Republicans that an adult international student sitting in a parked car with a can of beer should be deported. I'm not being sarcastic. That is what the bill they voted for would do. Read more: jonathancohn.medium.com/i-know-why-h...

Lander: "It's just gross, racist bigotry. Meanwhile he's running an optimistic, upbeat campaign for a NY where everybody belongs, and I feel proud as the highest-ranking Jewish elected official in NYC to be supporting somebody who would be the first Muslim mayor—what could be more NYC than that?"

mmmmmmm tepid

at this point i'm just curious if some federal judge(s) can call SCOTUS justices to tell them "what the fuck are you doing?!" from one jurist to another

Something the Mamdani win demonstrates is the extent to which the reigning cadre of ancient, establishment, centrist Dems think it’s more important to be on good terms with their GOP colleagues than it is to represent their own voters, and how thoroughly sick of this literally everyone is.

New York City: where apparently it's a grand conspiracy theory when the immigrants are replacing the immigrants that replaced the immigrants that replaced the immigrants that replaced the immigrants that replaced the Native Americans.

Mamdani has about 240,000 more votes (so far) in yesterday's primary than Gillen did in the '24 general so

i'm told this is the epitome of antisemitism in america.

Huge news today: Big Balls Out. Also, Big Balls Out.

i am simply asking the press to cover the government sending masked thugs to rip people from their crying children and shipping them to a foreign concentration camp with the same ferocity they cover a trans kid playing jv tennis in sheboygan

"stop leaving a paper trail of your concerns" is special

hey look. a DOJ lawyer who was fired for refusing to participate says the DOJ intentionally mislead and ignored court orders. "no one in D.O.J. leadership — in any administration — had ever suggested the Department of Justice could blatantly ignore court orders"

considering he invited himself to this party, i'm gonna boldly propose that Trump, similarly, does not know what the fuck he is doing.
