This Friday, a new transmission from the Inhuman Genome project will be released into the world. "The Transient" - a full-length album designed to rewire your neural pathways. #ExperimentalMusic #CinematicSoundscapes

I lived in Philly/Jersey longer than anywhere I've ever lived, and yet, if I try to say "coffee" like them, I still sound like somebody who's just started learning how to say words. cawwfy...cawwwafy...coowfey...I can't even type it!

For years, I've seen a constant stream of articles saying things like, "The Internet is furious with..." or "The Internet slams..." or "The Internet roasts..." or "The Internet hates this..." Does anybody have any idea who "The Internet" is and how can reason with this person?

Check out my new horror short story, out now! • Available now on Amazon: www.amazon.com/dp/B0DW5VZZ5N • Coming soon to print as part of a collection of short stories. • And...an accompanying full-length album drops in weeks!

My new book's new cover...

I can think of no good reason for what's happening. Not at this level.

There are people out there who would gleefully shit in a river upstream from people who drink from that river. Those people got their president today.

I'm home from #chattacon. The show was great, my panels went well, and I'll almost certainly be back next year. #writingconference #literaryconference

A lesson from David Lynch in choosing the company you keep

Tonight's watchlist: Mulholland Drive, Eraserhead I wouldn't be the writer and songwriter I am without those movies.

My daughter made it out of LA last night. This is climate change. A lot of people on the right are casting blame to avoid taking responsibility. This is their fault, and they refuse to learn any lessons from the consequences.

Why do most people have illustrations instead of photos for avatars on this platform? (That's how it seems, at least)

Would you want to live like an old pulp writer, pumping out constant short stories for enough scraps to keep the rent paid and lights on, but at least doing what you love for a living? I mean, there are modern equivalents, and maybe some of you essentially do this, minus the typewriter.

www.newsweek.com/unitedhealth... This feels like a tidal shift. People are starting to realize that we're all on the same side, and it has been in the hoarders' interest to divide us. I have a feeling a lot of political lines are about to blur.

I'm so glad the UHC story has reinvigorated the conversation about economic justice. The healthcare debate has been mostly quiet ever since Bernie and Warren ran because they've kept us distracted with the culture war. If we get economic justice, social justice will follow.

Maybe Biden could give some of those pardons to all the non-violent offenders his crime bill crammed into prison instead of just his own son?

When I put a shirt in the washer inside-out, it comes out of the dryer inside-out. When I put it in right-side-out, it comes out inside-out. Scientists, please get on this.

I’m hangry. Come at me! (Preferably with a sandwich)

The plan was to spend my 4 day weekend making progress on my book and new album. That was the plan...

I've been using Tarot, I Ching, and other processes I call the "magic randoms" for creativity and problem solving for decades. I don't think it's a coincidence that I've never had creative block. I started that when I learned that Phillip K Dick used the I Ching to write The Man in the High Castle.

I just followed all my Twitter/X mutuals that I could find on here. The migration is almost complete.
