#CivVII definitely released in a half-baked state. I'm glad they've been so diligent with patching things in, but it feels like they rushed it out with no QA. Today's #patch notes included things like "add[ing] a notification when an enemy attacks a player's Unit" which is a basic part of old Civs.

Today, I learned about glory holes. Which is the term that glassblowers use to refer to the open oven where they stick glass to heat it up. This usage predates the other definition by about a century. In the interim, it also came to mean the large, cavernous holes of oil and mine drills.
