This is your regular reminder that capitalism doesn't function without exploitation. The only way a company makes money is to pay employees less than the value of the product/service that results from their labor. The presence of exploitation is not in question, only how drastic the exploitation is.

Mixed some toasted brown rice into a Sakura blossom and black tea blend today; oddly satisfying. The toasted rice and foral, salty sweet notes of the Sakura mix well together, which I didn't expect. I'll adjust the ratio next time to bring out more of the Sakura. Which I am extremely fond of. 🌸🍵🌾
