Season Two of Julia's first three episodes dropped one year ago today. Sarah always told the press that Julia- the person and the show- was a balm. So I'll just say, if you happen to be looking for a balm these days, both seasons can be found on Max. (And season 2 is 100% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.)

I only met Gavin Creel once, on a plane to LA, and he couldn't have been kinder or warmer or more personable. I got to tell him how much I have loved so many of his performances on stage that I was lucky enough to have seen. I am so moved by the outpouring of affection for him.

I feel very lucky that I got to see Maggie Smith twice on stage. The first time, when I was 10, in The Way of the World. I remember not being able to follow the play at all, but whenever she appeared - and I didn't know who she was then - I was in hysterics and understood every word.
