Kindness 💕 I needed to see this today.

#Rughooking- A Martina Lesar design where I took some liberties and added a few things. I think the home made frame makes it interesting.

Day 24 - #Artadventcalendar Alcohol ink on yupo There is a moment of knowing for artists if a piece is done or not. I still think this has something missing and I need to go back in. Have a wonderful holiday everyone with opportunities to get back into your art.

Day 23 #Artadventcalendar Alcohol ink on yupo. The iridescent parts are clear wrapping paper with resin overlay. More movement and a little wildness.

Day 22 #Artadventcalendar Alcohol ink on yupo. I can’t just do a basic flower, it has to morph into something wild and untamed . I think the purple and orange colour combo is interesting.

Day 21- #Artadventcalendar Alcohol ink and yupo. The inspiration is always nature but the colours are what make me happy.

Day 20 #Artadventcalendar Alcohol ink on Nara paper. After winter, I often see partially disintegrated leaves. Only the skeletal veins remain. That was the inspiration here.

Day 19 #Artadventcalendar A fairy ring of flowers in alcohol inks on yupo with resin overlay. The bottom right flower is 3 D.

Day 18 #Artadventcalendar Alcohol ink on yupo. There is kind of a ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ perspective going on but I like it.

Day 17- #Artadvencalendar Rug hooked snow people on linen. Hand knit accessories. One year I hooked snowmen, gnomes etc. and put them on my tree. and friends could take one home.

Day 16 #Artadventcalendar A colourful landscape done in alcohol inks with resin. I painted the cradle board black for a frame. I was playing with layering the paper.

Day 15 #Artadventcalendar A photo I took of my mother’s peonies which I transplanted to my garden. Art inspiration!

Day 14 #Artsdventcalendar Alcohol ink, sealant on a bathroom tile. A friend asked me to make this as a centre point for her bathroom wall tile.

Time for #artadventcalendar day 13. I didn't really notice that it was Friday 13th today! Here's another of my favourites. "Together", 16" x 20" acrylic on wood panel. Sold. Glass doesn't have to be 'fancy' to look amazing... #candles #atmospheric #realism #art #candlelight #glass

Day 13 #Artadventcalendar Mixed media piece using watercolour, inks, markers, resin. Experiment piece for my garden. Had fun with the doodles.

Alcohol ink on yupo with small 3D wings on the birds. Resin overlay. This represents’ vertigo’ to me but I’m sure it has other interpretations.

Day 11 #Artadventvalendar photograph taken in Scotland. Pink anemone against an old garden wall. I love the ferns growing in between the bricks.

Day 10 #Artadventcalendar Organic botanical in alcohol ink. I’ve been playing with adding movement to my work.

Day 9 #Artadventcalendar Large alcohol ink on yupo with resin. Three flowers in fantasy colours.

On this 8th day of #ArtAdventCalendar Drifting. Acrylic, 20x25cm

Day 8- #Artadventcalendar Watercolour sectioned with painters tape done by one of my classes ( pic to left). This inspired a stained glass window. The window was a collaboration with my stained glass teacher.

Day 7 #Artadventcalendar Alcohol ink on Nara paper with Yupo translucent paper leaves. Little holes done with a soldering iron. This one was purely experimentation.
