I have probably averaged 50-70 books a year since I learned to read at age 4. I have been unable to read a book - mentally unable - since November 2024. SEVERAL of my favorite authors have released books since then. I can't even bring myself to buy them. It's a problem.

I get artistic angst. It's part of the process...BUT... don't you have to enjoy it? I mean, I write because I love creating stories. Ultimately, its FUN. Parts I hate, parts are hard, parts are boring, the whole is FUN. FFS, I've been an artist my whole life. It's serious business. But I love it.
