I’ve found it’s more visually appealing to just paste in his head at the inflection points

i fell off the couch laughing help

One of the wilder political things in recent history is that Project 2025 publicly released a 900 page document laying out their plans to roll back 100 years of human progress and then during the campaign Republicans just said "no we're not :)" and then they won and now they're doing it all.

This is fucking vile.

Really need journalists to push back on this bullshit. When they say this, just ask them point blank: "Are you saying that because one Latino man committed a murder, another Latino man deserves a life sentence? Do you think all Latino men interchangeable?"

He's like one of those lizards that slaps its feet at the water to get across the pond

About to get thrown out of here for obvious reasons

Guys, you're still trying to replace FDR. I told you we can't do it, and we can't do it. Now, what we might be able to do is re-create him. Re-create him in the aggregate.

Feels *extremely* relevant that the cisgender women who share bathrooms and changing areas etc with trans women also happen to have the highest opinion of them. Just let trans people live their lives everybody, damn

Uptain Sinclair wrote The Jungle over 100 people ago. Can we go even one day without rolling back hard-earned collective progress in some fresh new generationally-stupid way

Mohsen Mahdawi at a Nov 2023 rally: "The first to stop an act of antisemitism was 5 of us—to go and tell the guy, ‘You don’t represent us because we have Jewish brothers & sisters who stand with us," arguing neither admin nor pro-Israel crowd moved to intervene Mahmoud Khalil standing right behind

Jewish classmates of Mohsen Mahdawi speak out— One, an IDF refuser, recalls how Mohsen met with Zionists, including those cruel to him—or how, while seeking to heal campus, he even expressed sympathy for administrators (the same who ignored his pleas for help). "Most profound person I've ever met"

Go Broncs

Genuine LOL

This rules

They're calling him one of the worst to ever do it folks

I love this fucking website so much

okay now that you all have gotten a taste of America's rational and predictable new trade policy, everyone who wants to build your new factories here just form an orderly line

Once again I think it's underrated that there is no "compromise with the US" popular constituency in any country. There's no international pro-US grassroots movement, the savvy political position *in every country* is to fuck us up good

[zoo] Tour Guide: this is a one-humped camel Me: if it has one hump it should be a canel Tour Guide: *into sleeve* he’s back

Feeling like a big dumbass working on my taxes right now. Who am I sending this money to

The biggest three drivers in your life where you realize politics affect you are high school, graduating college/joining the workforce, and buying a house/starting a family, and the average Millennial experience lines those up with 9/11, the 2008 financial crisis and COVID in perfect order

*picks up dirt and breathes in* “There was a battle here.”

all cultures and communities, small and large, everywhere, have built-in 'walked to school uphill both ways in the snow' shit talk to the young 'uns, some real, some myths, usually a mix you recognise the Good Elders as those who go 'and I want better for you than that' immediately right after

financial advice in a weird time: -- develop a plan -- find friends who support you -- preferably 10 of them -- steal $160 million from the Bellagio, the Mirage, and the MGM Grand -- yes those are Terry Benedict's casinos -- get your wife back -- one of the friends should be Don Cheadle btw simple

Pitching a buddy cop show called HONOR & BASH… they don’t always see eye to eye but they learn to work together and get results

Genuinely forgot that they're also trying to kill the Department of Education, that's normally a 5 alarm fire by itself but uhhhh there's a lot going on

Perfect example is the proposed 47% tariff against Madagascar. It is *incredibly* difficult to grow vanilla beans in the U.S. due to climate & intensive pollination needed, so we have to import vanilla from elsewhere. Madagascar isn't "cheating" us here, they're just trying to sell us beans idk

there are no adults in the room there are not even any teenagers in the room

We simply had to intentionally destroy the world’s strongest economy while dismantling our scientific and educational infrastructure to ensure that a team with a trans girl would never finish second place in the Mountain West volleyball standings again

I have seen the concept of the "median voter" accurately explained with reference to its actual origin in maybe two posts since policy school ten years ago. This is the second time.
