As I wrote yesterday I don't think Spurs were better for the first 60', and there's definitely a world where that back post header for 2-2 isn't off. But once Maddison came on our build up improved, and if your key player isn't fully fit, only using him for 30' but getting 3p is good management imo.

Great work by Sonny & Brennan for the goals, but I don't really think we've been the better team. The opposition are doing the big brain move of having a guy jog around next to our 6 so our build up is not working and keep giving them the ball in midfield. Son v Godfrey reminds me of Son v Trippier😂

if someone were to tell you 5 years ago that one of spurs or cameron carter-vickers were going to be drawing vs bayern away in a CL KO game and the other would be in the bottom half in the PL, would anyone have guessed at them being this way round?

Great ep this, they compared man utd & spurs situation and I think they're not similar, they very much did the "back conte" when we didn't. Got manager's faves for big £ and now their PSR & wages = fucked. I often hate on Levy for being overly cautious, but I'm very happy we're not in their place!

This reminds me of earlier this season and end of last when we had a ton of possession but didn't turn it into shots or goals. Another midweek of rest for Son and Deki might help, or some subs, but IMO we should be slaughtering Man Utd more, their entire midfield is an OAP with a zimmer frame.

One of my unexplainable favorite comforts is opening The New Yorker and reading the Tables For Two section, reviewing the food and ambience of a super chic restaurant I in all likelihood will never visit or see(I haven't been to NY in probably ten years). But it always makes me happy, every time!
