Fun evening at Birmingham Glee Club. Chloe Petts was fantastic, again.

Didn't get on with Beyond Good and Evil as much as I'd hoped. 20 years of hype and it honestly hasn't aged particularly gracefully and other games of the era do similar things far better. Next up: Moss Book 2, Black and Among the Sleep

Enjoyed Heart Eyes a lot. Happy Death Day vibes of knowingly silly slasher fun without being twee about it

I have a rule for buying games this year. 3 beaten for every pick-up. Buy one, beat it and clear 2 more from the backlog. I'm at 12 games beaten this year including all 3 I've picked up (Fort Solis, Ten Bells, Citizen Sleeper) plus 9 from the backlog. At this rate I'll clear my backlog in 10 years 😅

I've been playing Citizen Sleeper and... Wow. Just wow. Haunting, beautiful, brilliant game. Should have played this two years ago. Balancing that with Beyond Good and Evil, which I can't say is clicking for me but I shall push on.

Been in something of a gaming funk for a few days since wrapping up Star Wars Outlaws. Going to try and break through that today as I finally dive in, 20 years late, to Beyond Good and Evil

Follow @wario64.bsky.social and repost for a chance to win 1 of 5 Steam codes for Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered (courtesy of @aspyr.com). Giveaway ends Feb 18th, 6 PM PT Available now on PC and consoles www.tombraider.com/products/gam...

So Tides of Annihilation is Stellar Blade combat with a hint of Ender Lillies, and Elden Ring aesthetics? Yeah, alright. Sold.

Saw BowlingF For Soup at Nottingham Motorpoint. They've still got it. Great show.

just occurred to me that I haven't seen a single person here celebrating Gromit's birthday today, we gotta step it up

So interesting to see varied reactions to the State of Play. Some "it sucked" some "meh" and some "amazing." Love to see such a variety of taste and preference. And because this isn't Twitter the responses are "I'm happy you're excited" or "I hope there's more for you next time." Wild. Love it.

Is this new game Jennifer English?

Capcom are going all-in on Onimusha marketing and fair play because that looked INCREDIBLE

Star Wars Outlaws was a fun if occasionally frustrating typical Ubisoft game but now I need something a little more meaty. Not sure what I'll play next. Something short, for sure.

Wondering if Thunderbolts* will go down the comic route of showing Sentry was always around in-universe but retconned himself out of it. Him being present via re-remembered flashbacks at the Battles of New York, Sokovia, Wakanda and Earth could be fun if a little twee.

I have a fairly substantial collection (I love to smell good) but these are my most common reaches

Been a bit quiet on here lately. I'm dealing with a major pain flare up and massive drop in mood. Hope you're all alright and enjoyed your weekends.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood wrapped up. Fantastic series overall, but those last 15 or so episodes were unspeakably good. Miraculous. Next up, Death Note.

Onimusha 2 remastered? Do I wait or just play the PS2 version?

Enjoyed Companion today. Sophie Thatcher excellent and Jack Quaid was suitably vile.

Star Wars Outlaws is frustratingly janky but strangely charming. Aiming for 5 games from my backlog this month and this is the biggest one.

I sleepwalk when I'm stressed and my stress levels have been a *lot* lately. Anyway, I fell whilst sleepwalking last night and messed up my rotator cuff. Not for the first time. I hate physio but here we go again, I guess.

I won't be playing Forza Horizon 5 on Playstation 5 because honestly the 600+ hours I have on PC are sufficient. But anyone who hasn't played it should absolutely have a go. Damn fun game.

Had a goal of 10 games for January. One day to go and I'm at 9. Hoping I can wrap up Onimusha tomorrow.
