I had questions of what that means but remembered that The Houston Chronicle is a Hearst paper and they do a good job with investigative reporting and in depth political coverage pre election with deep voter guides.

Sediment redistribution was by gravity flow close to the seafloor controlled by topography and secondarily by bottom currents. Nice work using instrumented landers and AUVs. Take a look! Fantastic imagery.
