Lovely thing happened today. I was in the framing shop and a young woman nervously asked the owner if he had any need for a spare pair of hands as she'd just graduated and wanted to get into picture framing. Against the usual odds he said "Yes, come back on Tuesday".

Forty years ago today, the Luthuli charity head shave. I’d let my hair grow in anticipation. This lassie sponsored me twice as much as everybody else, then turned up with her camera for before and after pictures. Reader, I married her. Look at the colour of that hair, though. What gorgeous, eh?

Fair enough him not liking the film, but bullying Rickles like this is just shitty. I feel sorry for Don, he's obviously more cut out to be a guest than host, he can't call out Marvin because he knows it'll kill. I've worked with people who behave like Marvin and it is No Fucking Fun Whatsoever.
