Back when I finally started being responsible with credit cards, I'd pay each off in full twice a month (when I got paid). I told someone this, and they said it was actually worse to do that. They said to pay your bill once a month, MAX. I didn't push back. And I think about that exchange a lot.

Just used Automator to create an application that runs a script that git commits all changes to my Obsidian vault and pushes to GitHub as backup. Then used Apple Calendar to run it every day. It’s a hack but it’s my hack.
