Don’t succumb to Learned Helplessness. The real world isn’t TikTok where you can post something and have it go viral and then have a group of people show up at your door ready to put you in a front seat on the bus to a better world. You matter. Your effort matters. Don’t be passive.

My heart breaks every time I think back to this. Each day that goes by, the damage grows, people die, and trust is broken. If this drags on for months, the amount of work needed to just bring back the most basic of operations seems basically insurmountable. Any reversal feels pyrrhic at best.
