To anyone who is not clear: The First Amendment protected Rumeysa Ozturk when she published her op-ed. The same way it has protected me. Rule of law means that we should be treated equally.

People need reminding: the fatal flaw in our system, as in the Communist system, is human nature. Where Communists don’t allow for self-interest and greed, we don’t allow for lack of moderation and common sense. In the total absence of it we will fall hard and fast.
