Neither the new Spider-Boy or Spider-Girl are "MayDay Parker Erasure." 2 months B4 Maka's debut as a Spider-GIrl (there have been many), Bailey checked in w/ MayDay and hung out w/ her fam. One of the 1st things Bailey says to the new Spider-Girl is "I KNOW Spider-Girl and YOU are NO Spider-Girl!"

Killer creative team and concept. I so wanna read this book! This is a really cool/retro era of Steve Rogers' story to explore. Sign me up. I'm all Steve stories in this era. And we can still get Sam Wilson stories in modern day. That'd be a really good "two cakes" way to go.

Artist, @jorgejimenezart.bsky.social posted this on his Insta this weekend. It's the 1st time in a mainstream, solo SUPERMAN book where I got to write Clark Kent opening up that shirt and taking flight. And it's so damn beautiful. Couldn't breathe for a second. Literally caught my breath. #LookUp

Spider-Girl used to be the super-villain called "Funhouse". She's a mutant who copies your powers, abilities, & memories, but in weird, distorted ways, like a funhouse mirror. For example: When she copied Spider-Boy's powers she gained the spider-ability to shoot webs... something Bailey CAN'T do.

Reminder: Boy-Spider is NOT a clone. Bailey Briggs is Spider-Boy because Madame Monstrosity spliced Bailey with a Spider. Boy-Spider is who/what he is because Madame M took the spliced out remains of Bailey and smooshed that with what was left from that spider. And then she added "goo" for volume.

Last week the MARVEL AGE Treasury Edition came out. It collects MARVEL AGE #1000 & AMAZING FANTASY #1000. and reprints them in the GIGANTIC treasury size format! This includes the Silver Age Captain Marvel story I did w/ @allredmd.bsky.social & the Spidey 60th Anniversary story I dd w/ Jim Cheung.
