My thoughts on the Switch 2 align with Tom's here. It is a very nice upgrade for a much-loved console that went too long without one and worth the price if you can afford it, but having played with it for a while I'm not left shouting from the rooftops that you *have* to run out and get one ASAP.

Two insanely busy weeks later, my final review of the Switch 2 is now live! This was a tricky one, because if you are only gaming on a Switch right now, this feels like a CRUCIAL step up. But if you have other places to play, it's about as exciting as a long-overdue phone upgrade.

I for one am very much looking forward to playing Red Faction Gorilla.

My final review of @duneawakening.com is here, after way too much time lost on Arrakis. What a trip this thing has been! Check out my full review, via @ign.com: www.ign.com/articles/dun...

Today’s letter of the day is E, for national Embarrassment.

Confession: I only noticed a couple of days ago that it’s Donkey Kong: Bananza, not Bonanza. Quite embarrassing for someone whose personality is 75% dad joke wordplay.

Hello! I'm reviewing Death Stranding 2 for IGN, and seeing as the first delivered such varying opinions across the board, I thought it would be handy to get some context on my experience with the original. Stay tuned for my review of DS2 next week, on June 23rd. www.ign.com/articles/im-...

I'm still not gonna use Threads but it's insane that every platform didn't have this feature a decade ago.

My kids know how to show their dad a good time on Father's Day.

Played a bit of the Jump Ship demo and yeah, that game's gonna be cool. Seems like they've got the basics down, so the question is just about whether there's enough content/progression around it to keep it interesting for the long run.

Yeeees. Tonight’s lamb roast is proceeding exactly as I have foreseen it.

has that dude had his little birthday boy tank man parade yet? it’s hard to tell because the only thing the news is showing right now is how much people around the country hate him

The Simpsons highlighted an unfortunate loophole in the "No Kings" slogan.

FOR IGN: Ive returned to the portal arena to check out the sequel to Splitgate, which as of right now is a solid shooter that seems to be running away from what made the first one special

It's deeply annoying that with all this AI voice stuff out there there's no one-time purchase option to buy something that will run locally and read a text file to me in a natural-sounding voice.

As your resident Shooter Dude™ I was asked to re-review Rainbow Six Siege! I have many more hours ahead of me before I can give a final verdict, but so far the Siege X update has been really solid. Check it out!

Nothing like kicking off a Friday the 13th with a projectile-vomiting child (her third bout in two weeks) insta-scuttling weekend camping plans. Ah well.

The Alters is very good! You should play it.

Yeah okay, I'll watch another Space Balls.

Sometimes YouTube comments are good.

These dudes are very funny because they're indignant about something that's literally never happened. In the entire history of the Call of Duty franchise, IGN has never given a single one a 10 - and between 2016 and 2024 it only managed one 9 (for Black Ops 4's Blackout mode).

After 35 hours of gameplay, and far more than that writing, editing, logging footage, scripting, and voicing, IGN's final Mario Kart World video review is in the wild. This has been basically my entire life the last week, I'd love if you gave it a watch! youtu.be/uOb01_hlq0w?...
