I finished Digimon Digital Card Battle (Arena in Japan) for the PS1. Easily the best Digimon game I've played. Engaging story, beautiful music, fun mechanics. That final boss was definitely the best part. An easy 3 out of 3 stars. #RETROGAMING #retro #game #gamer #GamersUnite #digimon

So I've been finishing off some games that I got stuck on years ago. I've recently completed The Sims 2 for DS, Sword of Mana for GBA, and just now Digimon World 2003 for the PS1. It's been fun revisiting these games, sad to see them finished, and surprising to see everything is still working.

I've recently been playing Dungeon Keeper using KeeperFX, and boy is it fun. Especially the recreation of the DK2 My Pet Dungeon maps. I've managed to get so many skeletons, that I can just leave the hero lever left on, without any worries. 🎮

Today I learnt that you unlock the final level on The Sims 2 for GBA by linking two GBAs. 🎮 All this time I thought that you had to get a 100 rating on all of the other levels. Well, it might be 15 years after I started playing it, but I can finally finish the game! (Kind of fitting though.)

To anyone who has avoided playing Touhou Project because it looks too hard. Just know that despite appearances, bullet-hell games are surprisingly easier than normal shumps due to your tiny hitbox. I'd recommend Touhou to anyone. They're really fun games (brilliant music too, obviously).

Anyone ever notice how City Escape from Sonic Adventure 2 has a very similar melody to Magical Sound Shower from OutRun. Particularly the "Rollin' around at the speed of sound." part.

Finished Ultima Runes of Virtue 2. It's an early Gameboy game ported to the SNES and it shows. Ugly, janky, and unfair. Crap ending too. But I had fun. The dungeons were like puzzles. It's a 1 out of 3 stars game. But for me it's a 2 out of 3. #RETROGAMING #retro #game #gamer #GamersUnite #Ultima

I finally finished D&D Warriors of the Eternal Sun. Overall: Very slow start, mazes galore with lots of backtracking. Anti-climatic ending. But a fun dungeon crawler, with a plot that slowly ramps up. A solid 2 out of 3 stars. #RETROGAMING #retro #game #gamer #GamersUnite #DungeonsAndDragons
