Good @Amathusdbc #Dragonboat 🐲 training session last night. Clear, but cold. @Pooloflife_bcs ladies joined us too, so we had a single boat of 18 people out. Working on our timing, catch and feeling the resistance of the water. Last pieces to the rhythm of the music beat again 🎶🙂

A calm, clear, chilly night for @Amathusdbc #Dragonboat 🐲 training. The trees at one end of Salthouse Dock are festooned with Chinese lanterns for the lunar new year 🐍 One fairly full boat out, working on technique and phasing before going into some hard paddling pieces.

Sometimes you have to do something mental on a Sunday morning! I volunteered to helm an @Amathusdbc 🐲 #Dragonboat in very windy conditions 🌬 Very choppy water 🌊, although I had the easier to steer small boat. It was scary fun on the last piece, bombing home through the waves!

Went to buy cat food. Had a quick look around the Penny Lane second hand shops and came back with this little bargain! A Tanglewood TU3 electro-acoustic concert ukelele with hard case. Should be fun plugged into an amp 🙉 (Don't worry, cats won't starve. I remembered their food)

Today's rain cleared for our @Amathusdbc 🐲 #Dragonboat training session tonight. A slight breeze which fell away later. One boat out doing long pieces. Different sections of the boat paddling at a time, then all together. Finished off with paddling down the docks to music 🎶

A cold 🥶, dry Sunday morning for @Amathusdbc 🐲 #Dragonboat training, but we soon warmed up with some tough paddling. 14 crew big boat versus a 7 crew small boat. I was switched into the small boat early on. Playing around with the "Hot Stuff" beat for different exercises 🎶🎵🙂
