Help spot the pattern… ❌Banned clubs at West Point: Black, Asian, Hispanic, women, and Native American heritage clubs ✅Not banned at West Point Military Academy: German, French, and Polish clubs Can’t quite put my finger on it…

Does “Golden Age” refer to a time when planes keep crashing, eggs cost $10–15 a dozen, the U.S. is being booed and protested by all our allies, workers are losing their jobs, and Americans’ personal data is being rummaged through by unelected oligarchs and their strange crew of 20-something incels?

A simple fact a lot of folks have forgotten is that elites have always seen democracy as a problem. As @steventdennis.bsky.social pointed out, if they had the votes to do all this stuff, they would have a long time ago, these aren’t new ideas, they’re just not afraid to force them thru anymore.

☎️ Call your reps daily, don’t stop calling until musk is held accountable You can call after hours & leave a message- fill up those voicemails NO excuse why we can’t call our reps daily We must outnumber maga, who calls their reps 10x more than us Specific scripts below ⬇️ 5calls.org

We @propublica.org are tracking who is working with Elon Musk and what they are doing. We have 20+ names so far including some that haven't yet been reported. Help us investigate and send us tips 🔎: www.propublica.org/tips/federal... projects.propublica.org/elon-musk-do...

According to @oliviajulianna.bsky.social, a childhood rife with economic collapse, school shootings, and political failure prepared Gen Z for Trump’s autocracy. The kids won’t save you—but we can inspire change by fighting together.

NEW: Elon Musk's buddies and DOGE underlings are working in the dark to make drastic changes to the US government. @propublica.org is shining light on them with our new tracker. Read. Share. Most importantly, send us your Musk tips: projects.propublica.org/elon-musk-do...

Having covered Tesla when it first started I can say unequivocally that company would never have existed without government subsidies. NPR on the other hand gets 98-99% of its revenue from non-governmental sources. But go off, Goebbels.

35+ Dems plan to hold the Senate floor all night to oppose the confirmation of Musk-Trump funding freeze architect Russ Vought. THIS is how we fight back while in the minority. (via @schatz.bsky.social)

I think folks aren’t registering that Trumps base doesn’t love him because of what he’ll do FOR them. They love him because of what he’ll do TO the people they hate.

Yes totally cool that a 19-year-old who called his deleted LinkedIn "Big Balls," where he lists his experience working as a camp counselor can access the entire US federal payment system without anyone looking into his background, for instance, his Russian national close relatives or anything else

When I visited a friend who worked in the White House years ago, I had to submit a ton of info weeks earlier to get approved just to walk into the building. And now, apparently, anyone who says "I work for Musk" can just wander around and access anything.

I think this is our future unless someone stops him. Musk’s plan for X has been for it to replace the entire banking system. His keen interest in seizing control of Treasury payments (and its tech) may forebode an intention to have such payments go through X www.theverge.com/2023/10/26/2...

A poorly educated population is easier to control

Special counsel Jack Smith released his final report documenting Donald Trump’s attempts to subvert the 2020 election, offering the most comprehensive view yet into the overwhelming evidence of Trump’s alleged crimes.

So it's dangerous for China to have the ability to access our data and manipulate us via social media apps. But it's okay for America's billionaires to have the ability to access our data and manipulate us via social media apps. Do I have this right?

BREAKING: young Angelenos who fled wildfires are occupying the Phillips 66 facility demanding oil & gas companies pay to rebuild LA. These companies make climate change worse while raking in TRILLIONS of $$ each year. They profit while we lose our homes. That must end.

It's clear: "Fossil fuel CEOs are responsible for the destruction that is happening right now in Los Angeles." Big Oil Profits, LA burns. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

The Sunrise LA occupation at Phillips 66 is still going strong. Dozens camped out last night and aren't leaving until they get a meeting with Phillips 66's uber-rich CEO to talk about companies like Phillips paying to rebuild LA. They caused the fires, they should pay.

🧵 THREAD: Our reporter spent the past year reporting inside the State Department, trying to answer the central question of Biden’s foreign policy: How did the U.S. let Israel get away with widespread horrors in Gaza?
