Tarantino saying that about Godard is painfully funny and ironic. There’s a wildly overpraised filmmaker one should grow out of and it’s not Godard. And no, you don’t grow out of Frazetta.

I think Fleming is underrated. For one thing, a major subtext in all those books is that every rich asshole he knew from the country club had zero empathy or humanity, and would take over the world if he could.

Occam’s Razor works on Nazis, too. It is the opposite of complicated.

Elon Musk and Donald Trump had fathers who weren’t raised on television. But they were racists and fascists, and raised their sons to be the same. I don’t think television has a single goddamn thing to do with the evil of those men. I don’t think Vladimir Putin is the product of too much TV.

As usual, great advice from Greg.

“Squint against the grandeur!” Rest in peace, Peter. I was so lucky to work with you and be your friend. You were the best. No one better to be on set with.

More of this. From everyone.

I’ve had a few people ask me about this… and yes, I have been told I can confirm I’m a consulting editor on this series. And there’s a whole 150 page Elvira OGN I wrote coming at some point in the future.

Someone once told me I looked like Alan Delon, and I laughed out loud. I think I replied “we both have blue eyes.” The past ten years I’ve been getting “Commissioner Gordon” and I think they specifically mean the Gary Oldman version. I’m perfectly comfortable with that.

Headed over to #ComicsPro this afternoon to do some very professional loitering.

Facts are nice. Enjoy these facts.
