Here is a thought I just had: dry heaves are never fun but I just realized an advantage. If you only have the dry heaves, you won’t get as easily dehydrated as you do when you throw up liquid. I also realize that it’s something only I would say because I’m so obsessed with not getting dehydrated.

Cricket players are total freaks. And they're not even trying to hide it

I turned 65 in January of this year. I was laid off from my job of exactly 20 years last week. The biggest blow for me was the loss of my health insurance. I have heart disease and diabetes and depend on life saving medication that I cannot afford without insurance.

I’m 65. I was laid off from my job on Monday. My official start date there was April 20th, 2005. My official end date is this Friday, April 18, 2025. So, at exactly 20 years my life, I mean my job is over. Interesting timing there, universe.

Andrew is an amazing writer. This book is so good.

This is just a friendly reminder from the Colorado History Museum that it wasn't too long ago this sign wasn't uncommon to find, and we are heading in this direction again.

This is going to be such a great show!

I was lucky enough to get to purchase this!

Live, Laugh, Lower your standards

I attempted to roast brussels sprouts for the first time but I left them in the oven too long and they are inedible. I’m very sad. I love brussels sprouts and I HATE wasting food. I’ll have to try it again for less time.

I have no plans to get on a plane anytime soon but this is concerning. If you’re traveling, please wear a mask.

Five years ago today, on January 11, 2020, the first known death from COVID-19 was reported.

A little coffee and some Enya to start my day. Don’t mind if I do.
