We traded Europe for a guy that builds concentration camps for profit.

Harvard: The Costco of universities (in the good way).

So...in answer to the question maybe nobody else had as they watched their recording of SNL tonight...

A perfect example of the multitudes who did all they were supposed to do to create businesses from scratch…build them through incredibly hard work…create jobs and futures for others…only to be betrayed and sabotaged on a whim. They'd believed in the Dream… "…being in control of your own destiny…"

Now this…is extremely cool… It's overwhelming to think of all the imaginative work created across millennia that then disappeared within a century or a generation (or year or day), so we don't even know it ever was… Rescues like this are wonderful, but also hint at how much must be lost forever…

Despite poison-infected minds, Jefferson didn't condemn all novels: "this mass of trash however is not without some distinction: some few modelling their narratives, altho fictitious, on the incidents of real life, have been able to make them interesting and useful vehicles of a sound morality.”

President Zelensky on the Russian missile strike in Sumy: “Only absolute scum could do this.” Russia launched two ballistic missiles — one hit a university building, the other exploded above a city street. 34 innocent people were killed, 117 injured.

L - The official photo from the Kremlin of US Special Envoy @SteveWitkoff putting his hand over his heart as he greets his friend Vladimir Putin again this week. R - Putin’s latest missile attack killing at least 21 people, including 7 children, on Palm Sunday. Putin’s stooge.

"But the rules that matter most — the ones that govern character — are also in peril. ... Too many have abandoned the basic principles of integrity, decency and respect. Without these, society does not simply fray; it collapses." /1

Design (to borrow from Pye’s The Nature & Art of Workmanship) is the part of making that can be communicated by abstraction like words & drawings; and workmanship is that part of making that can’t be. So the absent architect is here referenced by a sketch, and the stonecarver by a limb at work.

"...the White House press pool reporter for MyPillow Mike Lindell's Frankspeech network." Akin to being the head pastry chef at the Jiffy Lube Aquapark...

AOC: We must acknowledge the terrifying moment we are in right now. What we are hearing and seeing with our own eyes is, in fact, happening. We are watching our neighbors, students, and friends being fired, targeted, and disappeared. It is real.

If this is also "true" of the non-Salvadoran inmates sent there by the U.S., it puts the onus now on Bukele. If the U.S. has relinquished any jurisdiction, then HE is the one imprisoning men taken to his country against their will who have committed no crime against that country. It's an ICC case!/1

Trump's imagined outcome of tariffs v the actual outcome München, Bayerische Staatsbibliothek, BSB Clm 4453; 'Evangeliary of Otto III'; c.1000 CE; Reichenau; p.19 BL Stowe 955, f.15r

The pace and scope of crimes, abuses and lying by Trump's regime are increasing at a startling rate. His allies (or beneficiaries) who are unsettled but feel it's not yet time to intervene are about to learn an old lesson: when they do try, it will be too late. They will become the next victims.

"Pearre told Coulter that the plan was illegal, cruel and risked declaring the wrong people dead, according to three people familiar with the events. But his objections did not go over well with Trump political appointees." Such flagrant abuse of power constitutes high crimes and misdemeanors.
