Reply to this with the most refreshing and “new” album you heard this year. Me first:

Last week. Anyone love anything on here? Would love to give or receive recommendations.

Shoot me a genre, vibe or an album you love and I’ll give you a recommendation.

What’s your favorite album from each year of this decade? Mine: (2020) Charli XCX - how I’m feeling now (2021) Squid - Bright Green Field (2022) PVA - Blush (2023) Sufjan Stevens - Javelin (2024) Famous - Party Album

Here's every album I've spent a fair amount of time with this year in some order of how much I enjoyed it / how innovative I thought it was / vibes. I tinker with this constantly and have a tab in an excel doc for every year going back to the 50s, which I've been told is very neurotypical actually

Artists I've listened to most in the past year. Charli and @95corolla.bsky.social tour when

This Ally Evenson record came out today and I’m enjoying thebhell out of the whole record. For fans of a Soccer Mommy type beat.

This is one of my songs of the year. What are yours? Genre appreciated. This is experimental hip hop I guess?

Anyone else not really know what to do on here yet?

Party Album by Famous is shaping up to be my AOTY. One of the most inspired post punk albums I've heard in years. I love the genre dearly but it takes a lot for something to stand out these days by shear volume of my consumption. Every year or two I get a Protomartyr or something that cuts thru.

I really missed Fazerdaze. Many try but nobody quite hits this tier of euphoric dreamy bedroom pop for me.

My most listened to records since I’ve been tracking on #lastfm in 2015. Recommend, roast, rate. (I promise I won’t only post charts forever but I’ve been in a charty mood.)

These are my favorite albums of all time. These may not all be in heavy rotation currently but they influenced my life the most. Any of these mean anything to you?
