Large open levels, and lots of them. Sometimes can feel a bit samey with the same enemies appearing again and again. Dragon is ok, and probably needed. I'm less convinced about turret sections and the mech stuff, but these interludes are brief.

New doom is quite interesting. I didn't buy it, but I've watched other people play it a lot. It's Def a response to criticisms of eternal. Much slower base speed, emphasis away from weapon switching.
