Wanted to be a journo, turned out to be an ad man, at least not a mad man. Father, grandfather, music lover and reader. Things looked bright in 1994, not sure what 2054 will be like. Don't forget your towel.

I had a feeling I was being watched. A tawny frogmouth? A brawny owl?

My TV is on the blin and I've not seen the news today, (other than online). Has there been any explanation about the incident that brought the Sydney train system to a standstill yesterday afternoon? A mate that works on the trains said it was someone climbing the Harbour Bridge.

Went for a stroll, nice weather for it.

Nice to see Bachman Turner Overdrive get some recognition. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/bachman-turner-overdrive-road-renamed-1.7514171

Canada, like Australia is having an election. Disability is not a topic I see either potential leader talking about. Tariffs, nuclear plants, housing for who can buy. Nothing for those trapped in poverty through an inability to work. www.cbc.ca/news/politics/elections-disabilities-vote-1.7511654

One of the wonderful things about unpacking is finding things you've packed a while back. This started to play as soon as I got it out of the trunk. Not bad for a birth present from over 55 years ago.

Trying to give away a single bed base on FB Marketplace, dude wants to know if it will fit in the back of his SUV, even with the headboard off a single bed would be hard to fit.

Had my worst fear realised this afternoon and found myself face down on the footpath of a shopping strip, not Barnaby style, I was rushing for a bus and tripped. Most falls have been after an Epileptic seizure. Once again, the kindness of strangers rushing to my assistance was heartwarming. Be kind.

Gosh, I hate moving. Selling, giving away these.

Accidental selfie taken trying to sell furniture.

Bennelong is getting interesting. Didn't expect this Easter Egg!

Yes, the news has been oddly quiet about this.

A heartbreaking story, a baby abandoned on a doorstep after a homebirth. Sad to think of the desperation that would cause a mother to do that. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/london/baby-found-london-ontario-1.7506580

Growing up in Niagara Falls, Ontario our family would often cross the border for dinner in Niagara Falls, NY. Can't imagine us doing that these days. www.cbc.ca/news/business/canada-us-travel-fears-1.7506048

A pic from yesterday. The container is now almost empty. I was struggling with a couple of boxes and a young lady asked if she could help. I nearly cried. Need a bit of muscle for the last couple of things but almost everything is inside. So grateful for the help today, improves my hope in humanity.

More free shopping bags, just what we need. At least both parties are getting involved bringing down the cost of living.

Fuck cat pics, here's my new grandnephew. Arrived a bit early, but mum & bub are doing well.

I've had some things in storage for a while, some unexpected surprises, things I'd forgotten. Can't wait until I get the back of the box.
