All the fun of the fair. Castello #Venice five weeks ago.

For those of you in East Kent... Stour Game are an independent butcher on a farm site between Chilham and Godmersham. They do some interesting stuff including these two lovely chickens for a mere £12. Some of the best chicken I've eaten.

After much rumination, enjoyable if occasionally wasteful research, and a bunch of false starts... I now have the beginning of Arnold Clover's fourth adventure in Venice. No title yet tho...

Tonight I made risotto with crown prince squash. Just rice, roast squash, veg stock, shallots and parmesan. An absolute belter of a dish and quite easy. It got scoffed before I could take a pic.

That advert with the whistling bloke at a wedding guarantees I'll never buy anything from confused. Com ever.
