Excellent keynote lecture by Susan Gasser at EpiGene3Sys @institutcurie.bsky.social. A summary of ground-breaking work on the role of H3K9 methylation in restricting access of activators to chromatin. In addition Susan has a track record as excellent mentor. 'People is all what it is about.'

Excited to share James Jusuf's preprint: By integrating Micro-C with SuperRes Live-Imaging we can calibrate genomics&imaging to perform absolute quantification of looping (e.g. this loop is present 3%) We quantify mESC 36k loops: <loops> are generally rare (2.3%) www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...

Highly recommended (I am co-organizing this exciting meeting)! Please come and join us!

😱📣 BlueSky-ers: WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! 🙏 All of you who ever liked a lecture of mine... All of you who liked one of the courses I teach in... All of you I work(ed) with in one way or another... All of you who see my desperation! 😜 PLEASE re-post! 🙏 careers.humantechnopole.it/o/postdoc-in...

Hello Bluesky ! Introducing the Centre de Biologie Structurale (CBS), a research lab of around 150 people, located in Montpellier, South of France 🔆. Our 12 teams develop and use new technologies in structural biology, single molecule biophysics and synthetic biology to tackle biological questions.

Cool lineup next Monday at NYU on 3D chromatin architecture and cancer. Can follow on zoom here: nyulangone.zoom.us/webinar/regi...

Max Planck Emeritus Director Davor Solter named as one of the #citationlaureates in Clarivate’s annual list of “Researchers of Nobel Class”. He is honored for the discovery of genomic imprinting. Learn more: www.ie-freiburg.mpg.de/5864427/2024...
