Today on World Wetlands Day, why pretend to celebrate? IL has already destroyed 90% of our historic wetlands. We’re planting corn for ethanol in floodplains that should be wetlands, and when they flood as floodplains do, taxpayers bail out this corrupt, dysfunctional system.
