Rep. Elise Stefanik has called for Trump to “defund” universities “across the board” after his administration froze billions in funding when Harvard rejected the government’s demands.

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.” - President Theodore Roosevelt

This from @anneapplebaum.bsky.social www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

The Trump regime has done more damage to the USA in less than 90 days than all global terrorist groups and militias combined have been able to in the last 60 years.

🚀🚀

The record is in, and it now reveals that those ammosexual gun fetishizers who sworn they needed an arsenal to stave off government “tyranny,” not only fully supported that tyranny, but bent all the way over when government obliterated the very Constitution they claimed to want to defend.

Rep Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY): “Mr. Abrego Garcia must be returned immediately before he is killed in one of the most dangerous prisons in the world. Enough with the fake bravado. This is not America. The Supreme Court must aggressively enforce its order immediately.”

@fetterman.senate.gov Free Kilmar Abrego Garcia!

We haven’t reached bottom yet. Because there is no bottom to his moral depravity.

Harvard redid its whole homepage to push back against the administration’s demands. I mean, this is just a website but I think it’s kind of a great PR move: www.harvard.edu

Marjorie must never have a peaceful moment for the rest of her putrid existence.

Send that list to SCOTUS Chief Justice Roberts Supreme Court of the United States 1 First Street, NE Washington, DC 20543 I wrote 5 of the justices and said he’s a sociopath and has frontotemporal dementia . . . They intentionally made him a king and they need to hear from US

I would not have predicted that large universities would show more courage than either Big Law or corporate media. Good for them.

Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.

We are way past impeachment time

The constitutional crisis is here. The President is disobeying lawful court orders. His advisors and allies are cheering him on. And Kilmar Abrego Garcia remains trapped in a jail in El Salvador. youtu.be/HGTIELDTHOo?...

In defiance of the Supreme Court & without any evidence, the White House claims that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a “terrorist,” who was “sent to the right place.” This is a blatant LIE. He is innocent. He cannot be allowed to rot in an El Salvadorian jail. He must be brought home.

Fuck Trump.

Well thankfully we have a constitution and first amendment that will endure long past you fat self

It is difficult to convey precisely what is happening at HHS—how it’s so unprecedented and why it’s so destructive—because the changes are happening in so many places throughout the department simultaneously, and with no transparency.

MAGA is just now figuring out the Donald Trump's Supreme Court voted to dump sewage in our waterways. It happened almost a month ago. It's like we warned them this would happen with deregulation.

Donald Trump hit the golf course today after another disastrous week in the White House. He has now spent more than 25% of his second term golfing — the laziest president ever.

We have the most anti-free speech government in modern American history. (And yet, in true Orwellian fashion, they claim to be champions of free speech.)
