just watched Hail, Caesar! - satire, farce, and a love letter to the 1950s Hollywood studios...really enjoyable, everyone is having of fun and there are several big laughs in this, not least Ralph Fiennes as an exasperated director and Alden Ehrenreich as a miscast actor...4 out of 5 🎥

just watched Vivarium - if The Twilight Zone and Black Mirror had a baby and literally delivered it outside the front door of Inside No.9 then this film is it; psychologically disturbing in parts, quite out there in others...Imogen Poots is the standout in this, a solid 3.5 out 5 🎥

achieved what I set out to do today, six matches in a row - I'm not quite as quick as I was as a teen but I'm quicker than I was a month ago and far more comfortable on the ball, amazing how it all comes back with some effort - will definitely stick at it because it's fun rather than a struggle! ⚽️
