This is my best writing tip. When you're working on something, the hesitation to delete things can slow you down. So keep a doc for dumping all your deletions. Then you can delete with abandon, knowing you can always grab something and put it back later if necessary (it won't be).

I recommend Seattleites make this year's election all about Trump and Musk. Attend candidate panels and ask what candidates are going to do to protect the vulnerable and what they're going to do about our cratering budget. Ask what they think about increasing surveillance in these times.
